Following several unprecedented years of growth, Birkenstock needed to expand their office footprint in NYC. This project combined two existing suites with a third, giving ample space to their digital and creative teams to work and grow. It also included a relocation of their existing showroom – a space used by a multitude of buyers to preview and experience next year’s latest trends in the industry.

The resulting layout is a cohesive blend of the bespoke Birkenstock design philosophy with succinct functionality and the possibility of future expansion as this brand continues to grow at a breakneck pace. The Finaly team worked seamlessly with the client and design team – Heitler Houstoun Architects was a crucial partner in this process - to achieve the required aesthetic within budget and within schedule, allowing the Birkenstock team to return to their office in the second half of 2022.
