Finaly GC Governance
Sustainability
In a rapidly changing world, a sustainable business must be adaptable. This includes being responsive to emerging social challenges and adjusting business practices accordingly.
Finaly General Contracting has built trusted partnerships with clients from its beginnings as a family-owned business more than 20 years ago. Now under the helm of Christine Barshtak, Finaly continues to evolve with the changing landscape of commercial real estate. With work from home becoming more of the norm for many offices across the globe, Finaly is meeting the transformation with office space that creates a welcoming “destination” for employees.
Our focus on growth and client retention is the foundation for our sustainable business mindset. We take a strategic, long-term approach to decision-making, considering the consequences of our actions over time. Our strategy includes attention to the environmental, social and economic implications of our work – for ourselves and our clients.
In 2023, we received a Silver rating in recognition of our positive environmental, social and governance performance from EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of sustainability ratings. We are especially proud of our high score in the category of Labor and Human Rights, a testament to how we treat our team and work with subcontractors.
As a woman-owned business in a male-dominated industry, we understand the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in our economy. We are investing in sustainable practices that embrace innovation and seek new and more efficient ways of doing things for the success of our business and yours.
