Looking to consolidate their existing teams on multiple floors, national law firm Saul, Ewing, Arnstein & Lehr, LLP partnered with Finaly and D2 Design to construct a new space on the 29th floor of 1270 AOA, in the heart of Rockefeller Center.

Finaly was thrilled to test our finish skills in the creative use of mixed materials – custom-cut stone flooring alternating in honed and polished finishes are softened by broadloom carpet inserts, acoustical felt walls and sustainable bamboo panels.

The ribbed vertical “ply-boo” panels were stained a rich walnut to complement the furniture – including a custom-built reception desk merging metal, tile, and wood accents.

The new pantry and conference space, with corner windows overlooking both Rockefeller Plaza and an expansive Avenue of the Americas, utilizes a large internal sliding door, multiple audio-visual points, and flexible furniture for permeable separation between the various functions.
