We completed the buildout for Surmount at their main headquarters in 2025, a full floor interior renovation at 1185 Avenue of the Americas.

Designed by LBA for SL Green Realty Corp, the space had to hold up as a commercial real estate firm's own front door.

The reception desk is a slab of dramatic veined marble set against warm wood paneling, with the Surmount logo in brushed metal above it. Glass-front conference rooms line the interior, and the pantry leans into a moodier palette, dark tile, wood cabinetry, and statement pendant lighting.

But the real standout is the reception, marble and wood doing the kind of first impression most commercial offices never bother with.
