We completed the buildout for The Final Whistle at One Gateway, a sports bar and restaurant built to give tenants, locals, and their friends and family a place to watch soccer together. It soft opened May 19th ahead of the World Cup, and it's stayed open ever since, popular enough that what was meant to be a pop-up became a fixture.

A statement bar anchors the space, gold-trimmed glass display cases against black walls, paired with a scalloped, arched back bar framing the Newark skyline. Vintage-patterned flooring runs throughout, grounding tufted yellow banquette seating and a wall-mounted trophy cabinet. A double-height space near the entrance brings in light through a skylight, hung with international flags for the tournament.

But the real standout is the range, a bar built to feel like a neighborhood institution and a World Cup destination at the same time.
