We completed the interior buildout for Uncommon Schools at 55 Broad Street in 2020, working with Rudin Management on an administrative office built to run lean and function well, not to impress.

Rows of workstations fill the open floor, broken up by a bright yellow accent wall and topped with a mix of exposed ductwork and acoustic panel ceiling. Conference rooms come outfitted with full Zoom integration for a team that runs meetings across multiple school sites, and semi-private nooks with orange lounge seating give staff a spot to break away from the desks. A wall of mail cubbies near the entry keeps day to day operations organized for a staff that is constantly moving between locations.

It's a straightforward, hardworking space built for an organization focused on getting kids into classrooms, not office polish.
